Inspired by the tradition of La Danse Macabre and Le Théâtre du Grand-Guignol, Le Cirque Macabre was founded with the idea of combining dance, theater, and circus arts to tell bone chilling stories of horror and awe. Using aerial acrobatics, acro-balance, fire dancing, contortion, and more we are able to go beyond the narrative and create the spectacular.

Kelly Ward - Founder / Artistic Director
Kelly founded Cirque Macabre with a dream of combining her love of horror and circus. What else could a a girl do with 24ozs of left over fake blood and over 4 years of dedicated circus training? You may have seen her perform at Monster Art and Clothing, Nectar Lounge, The Triple Door, the Seattle Snowball, The Fenix, Columbia City Theater, Fred Wildlife Refuge, or her favorite place, Shadowland.

Marty Badger - Technical
Beyond running all the lights and sound, a lot of effort goes on behind the scenes in a production... from designing posters, editing music, writing lyrics, carrying heavy 6' steel legs, brainstorming ideas, and much, much more. Marty makes the circus work.
